Biography

Best known for his acclaimed work as half of the band known as Ego Likeness, Steven Archer brings a more experimental and harsher project to the table with his solo project, Hopeful Machines. Subtitled, "Music For Sociopaths", these electronic landscapes are far more comparable to work by artists like Skinny Puppy-offshoot, Download, and even at times similar to that of the powernoise quadrant of electronic music.

After the successful releases of several online EPs and albums, RAM is happy to press the project's first full-length release - a limited edition of ::Skinless::. However, fans and curious onlookers should check out the official website, as Archer still offers the rest of this project's back catalog up as free downloads.
