Submission Guidelines
For any artists interested in having their projects added to the site, there are a few simple guidelines that will make the submission process easier. Please make sure your music meets the following qualifications:
- The music must be in the glam/goth/industrial/synth rock (or extremely related genres.)
- Your music and your "public appearance" (your website, your photos, etc.) must be of acceptable professional quality.
- You and your band must handle yourselves in a professional and supportive manner towards other members of the music community.
Now, for the explanation and exceptions to these first two rules. In regards to genre, we have personally chosen to work with a very specific range of musical styles. We find that by focusing down we can acheive better results in targeted marketing and promotion. We also believe that by maintaining a personal interest and enthusiasm for your music makes us more effective supporters!
In regards to public appearance, we ask that bands understand that we are looking for musicians that have reached a recognizable professional level in their work. While we do help bands at all levels of growth and development, we feel it is vital to maintain the integrity of our site. It's our promise to our artists that they will only be featured with bands that are of the same quality, and to our fans to provide the best music possible. The site will include a handful of bands who are at a more infant level, but that is because we have personally decided that they have shown promise and we are offering them a chance to grow in a supporting environment.
Finally - support. One of the main goals of this site is to create a strong and supportive community where bands can flourish and grow. Any band that is seen to be hurtful towards fans or other bands will immediately be denied or expelled from our site.
With all of that being said, if you feel like you're ready for inclusion on the Radio-Active-Music.com site, please contact Valdyr for more information.
NOTE: A change in reply policy: Over the last few years, Radio-Active-Music.com has made a real effort to respond personally to every inquiry. As the site is expanding, we no longer can guarantee a response. If we are interested in your project, you will hear from us within a month of receiving your submission. Thank you for your understanding.
We look forward to hearing from you!
Staff Opportunities
Radio-Active-Music.com is currently looking for individuals to fill the following positions. RAM's staff is unpaid, however, but you will receive great experience, resume/reference material, and as much band shwagg as we can throw your way!
We're looking for people who have a great passion for indie bands in these genres. Prior experience with promotion, journalism, street teaming, etc. is helpful, but not required. As the positions are unpaid, we do not expect a huge time commitment, but applicants should expect to spend a few hours each week on their tasks.
Current openings:

Promotion Manager - Asian Region - RAM is looking for a person to coordinate promotion and street team efforts in the Asian region.

Street Team Members - Of course, RAM's main focus is both online and offline promotion. Join RAM's ever-growing street team and help spread the word about Radio-Active-Music.com and our artists! We're constantly looking for more people to help by posting myspace bulletins, livejournal posts, and handing out promo materials at shows.
Interns - Are you a high school or college student looking to get a start in the industry? RAM's intern program gives students an up-close-and-personal look into the music industry. Interns help with a variety of tasks, including helping to maintain the RAM website, office duties, live show support, and promotion. Credit can be arranged with your school, too!
If you're interested in any of the above opportunities, please contact Valdyr with your name, age, experience (if applicable), sample of your work (if applicable), and a short paragraph of why you'd like to work for RAM.
